June 23, 2015 – Indiana Adoption Reconnections ICLEF Held in Indianapolis Today

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – Adoption attorney, Steven M. Kirsh and his sister Jill Kirsh Freeman, of Kirsh & Kirsh, P.C. took part in a presentation today regarding adoption reconnections in the state of Indiana. Steven has been practicing adoption law in the state of Indiana for over 34 years now. Steve practices with his brother Joel D. Kirsh and his son Grant M. Kirsh. Jill has has been reconnecting adoptees with their biological families (and vice-versa) for the past 8 years and has handled 200 reconnections. Jill has a 95% success rate in locating the party being sought. Steve and Jill were asked by the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum (ICLEF) to present on adoption reconnections and the laws in Indiana which govern the process by which people are able to become reconnected. The presentation was broadcast on a live webcast for attorneys and other practitioners around the state to view.
