Basil is the furriest member of our team. She is an English Chocolate Labrador Retriever and a licensed therapy dog, born in 2023. Basil comes to the office regularly and proudly attends all of our foster care adoption final hearings. She absolutely loves her job.

When she’s not working, Basil enjoys wrestling with her sister, Sweet Potato, at home with Grant and Emley, while their brother, Newton, supervises (and barks at them). Basil is truly the kindest puppy soul you’ll ever meet—she’s made of pure love. Even when she’s off duty, she’ll happily approach any child she finds, hoping to brighten their day with her gentle presence.
